Report Regarding QR Codes on MIDORI “Shikishi” Message Cardboard Products

We have recently identified an issue involving the QR codes printed on the packaging of certain “Shikishi” (Message Cardboard) products from our product brand, MIDORI. For a period of time, accessing the URL via these QR codes may have resulted in the display of false warnings or other suspicious content.

This situation arose because the former domain (URL) for our “How to Write on Shikishi” website, which was in use until December 2022, was acquired and misused by a third party.

While we have taken immediate action to address this matter and can confirm that the false warnings are no longer being displayed as of now, the former domain remains under the ownership of the third party.

Please be advised that the “How to Write on Shikishi” website can no longer be accessed via the old QR codes or the old URL. When visiting the site, please ensure you use the current operational URL: shikishi.midori-japan.co.jp

We sincerely apologize for any concern or anxiety this may have caused our customers.
